Save Your Neck This Winter

When clients present for their initial skin consult at Paragon, one area of the body that women over 40 frequently cite as a chief complaint is the neck. This delicate skin is often overlooked in one’s daily cosmetic regimen, however it is one of the primary areas in which we begin to see the wear and tear of normal aging and environmental assaults. The skin on the neck is thin, and it does not have much structural support. Additionally, we seldom protect it from sun exposure because we often neglect to think about it until it’s too late. Gravity and muscle loss start to take a toll on this fragile area as we approach our 40’s. There are surgical treatments that can remove excess wrinkled skin and fat, but before considering drastic measures, one should  incorporate the neck area into our skin care regime. Neck firming creams with low dose retinol and hyaluronic acids can keep thin, dehydrated skin looking younger.

In addition to adding protective and repairing skin care products to the neck, other non- surgical options are also available. Paragon provides Titan, a non surgical Intense pulsed light (IPL) tightening treatment that works well on the neck area to regenerate collagen. Non ablative lasers and radio frequency are other methods. IPL can help with discoloration and texture.  Injectables are also a great option (with temporary results).  With any of these treatments, skin care is essential!

Even with medical grade skin care products and sunscreen application daily to treat this delicate area, gravity and aging are inevitable. The skin care specialists at Paragon are always on the look out for effective products that will treat the neck and decollete’ and provide effective, visible results. The SENTE skin care line does just that! SENTE Neck Firming Cream contains a low dose retinol as well as a new patented ingredient called HSA which is only found in SENTE products.

For a limited time only, Paragon is offering a full size SENTE Neck Firming Cream ($79 value) and a microdermabrasion treatment for $125. Call (856) 848-1485 for further details.
